BIO Integration Refines Aims and Scope to Strengthen Focus on Translational Biomedical Research
BIO Integration has announced a refined Aims and Scope that reinforces its commitment to publishing high-impact interdisciplinary research bridging biology, medicine, engineering, and technology. Effective July 1, 2026, the updated scope provides clearer guidance for authors by emphasizing studies that integrate technological innovation, mechanistic insight, biomedical application, and translational potential, while maintaining the journal’s longstanding mission of accelerating the translation of scientific discoveries into improved patient care. The refinement strengthens the journal’s identity as a leading platform for integrative biomedical research and reflects the evolving needs of the global scientific community without changing its core disciplinary focus.
