Submission Process

Submitting Your Manuscript

Manuscripts should be submitted to BIO Integration through the journal’s online submission system. Authors should ensure that their manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the journal’s Author Guidelines and complies with all applicable Editorial Policies before submission.

Cover Letter

Along with the submission, please provide a cover letter declaring any potential conflicts of interests.

Initial Checks

Following submission, the Editorial Office conducts an initial check to ensure that the manuscript meets the journal’s basic submission requirements and is suitable for editorial consideration.

Peer Review and Editorial Decision

Manuscripts considered suitable to proceed are subject to external peer review in accordance with BIO Integration‘s Peer Review Policy. Regular submissions are reviewed by at least two suitably qualified external reviewers.

Following peer review, an editorial decision is made in accordance with the journal’s established editorial process. Authors will be notified of the decision and, where applicable, any revisions required.

Special Issue submissions are handled in accordance with the journal’s Special Issues Policy.

BIO Integration aims to notify authors of acceptance within7 days of receipt.

Timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the manuscript, the availability of appropriate reviewers and the number of revisions required.

Accepted manuscripts will be published within 3–6 months after acceptance.

From Acceptance to Publication

Accepted manuscripts are normally published online within approximately 3–6 months after acceptance.
