BIO Integration subscribes to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the COPE Code of Conduct and best-practice guidance for journal editors.
Editorial decisions are made in accordance with the journal’s editorial and publication ethics policies. Information concerning research funding, conflicts of interest and relevant relationships between authors, reviewers and members of the Editorial Board is disclosed in accordance with the journal’s policies and applicable COPE guidance.
Open Access and Copyright
BIO Integration is a platinum open access journal. All articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, and authors are not charged any article processing charges (APCs) or other publication fees.
Authors retain copyright in their published work. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, which permits users to share, copy, redistribute, adapt and build upon the material for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes made are indicated.

Disclosures and Conflicts of Interest
Authors are required to disclose financial and other relationships that could be perceived as influencing their work. Relevant disclosures may include equity ownership, profit-sharing arrangements, royalties, patents and research grants. Authors are not required to disclose the monetary value of these interests. Where no relevant interests exist, authors should state “None”.
